About the Artist
Don’t let the North Jersey accent throw you. Maybe it’s that unique combo of Grandma’s Kentucky DNA that helps Liz Miller slip into and out of Americana, Blues, and Rock with native ease.
The gravel in Liz’ deep voice would suggest a world weariness yet, her songs range from fun to awkward to profound.
Her biggest hit to date was an ad for chicken breader. If you ask nicely, she will sing it for you!
An upbeat song co-written with Tom Stipe appeared in the HBO movie Dirty Driving and much to her surprise, a cast member wrote to her saying how much he loved the music. Of course she sent him the MP3.
Liz is one half of the bi-coastal alt rock band- The Xconditionals (formerly Unconditionals- good back story) whose first recording was up for a San Diego Music Award!
At the urging of several influentials, Liz Miller has finally decided to perform her own songs. Her first solo artist CD, A Little Life, is being released and distributed on all platforms October 14th, 2021. With a little help from her friends, the greatest players in the Philadelphia area, and the always astonishing Glenn Barrett at Morningstar Studios, the project exceeded all expectations and everyone is excited to perform it!
The release event depends on how the pandemic is doing and how everyone is doing with the pandemic.
You can hear about Liz’s musical path on Tales of the Road Warrior podcast hosted by Hal Aaron out of Philadelphia. Both Liz Miller and The Xconditionals can be heard on WOS radio/ podcast available on Apple Music.
Having projects in Jazz/Lounge, Alt Rock, Americana, and an Off Broadway Musical for new mothers, Liz Miller does it all and loves it all.
